Is Options Cafe Good for Beginners?
Yes. The course is built so a complete beginner can follow it, but it goes deep enough to stay useful once you've been trading for a while.
The early modules assume zero background. I start with what a stock is, how the market moves, and how options actually work — calls, puts, and what it means to sell them — before we ever get to multi-leg trades or the Greeks.
If you're brand new, here's how I'd start:
- Watch the free preview lectures to get a feel for the teaching style.
- Work through the "Primer on Trading Stocks" and "Options Basics" modules in order.
- Once the basics click, move into the income strategies like the Wheel and put credit spreads.
One honest note: options involve real risk, and this is not a get-rich-quick course. Take your time with the fundamentals before you risk any money. You can see everything the course covers on the homepage.
